Carmel Cottage on The Lake

Michael is the best host!

We rented this lovely home on pine mt lake for labor day weekend. It was perfectly placed right on the water directly across from the beach at the lodge. Great doc for swimming and hanging out in the shade. We took advantage of all the great toys to using the kayaks, lilly pad, giant size rubber ducky, and electric boat. We loved sitting out on the upstairs balcony on the shady couch and sitting at the table with lots of sun or under the umbrella with shade. The best part was the amazing hot tub looked brand new on the bottom balcony. It had a great view of the lake and was a godsend after a day of wake boarding at Don Pedro! The only constructive feedback I have is that VRBO stated it has 4 bedrooms, when in reality there are only two actual rooms with doors. There is a master bedroom upstairs with a king size bed. Outside of that room is a loft with no wall that has two twin beds. Theres also a large full bathroom upstairs. The main floor has a large couch in the family room with a half bath off the kitchen. There’s also a couch oddly placed between the kitchen and the dining room. On the bottom floor is another large master suite with a queen bed and an on suite full bathroom with a laundry room and washer and dryer. Outside of that room is a large open room with a couch that coverts to pullout queen. All in all we had lovely time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great time!!!

We had a great time with our family at this beautiful house. It was peaceful, relaxing, and the lake view from the hot tub was amazing.The house was nice overall, but it could benefit from a more thorough cleaning. The kitchen was also a bit short on cookware, and we would have appreciated having more pots, pans, and bowls available.Communication with the host was easy, and he responded quickly whenever we had questions. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and created wonderful family memories.
